Koala Personals

Shine a light on hate — up close and personal

The Koala staff attempt to remain anonymous. Apparently, it’s a lot easier to publish pornography, pedophilia, racism, homophobia, misogyny and imagery of violence against women and girls if you don’t have to own up to what you are doing. But we think credit is due, and here are the Koalans we’ve identified so far — up close and personal.

George Liddle

Here’s whom we know so far:

Stephen Di Padova

George Lee Liddle III, owner, publisher, interim Koala editor at CSUSM, former Koala editor at UCSD in the early 2000s. UPDATE: Liddle is job hunting!

Jeff Allen, CSUSM student

Garret Crispi, former CSUSM student

Ryan Curnick, CSUSM student

Bao Dang, CSUSM student

Aaron Jaffe

If you know any other Koalans — if you have any pictures of them you’d like to share — let us know.

We’re happy to shine a light on hate!

  1. Why did you use the word whom there, when it’s clearly an awkward usage?

More frequent usage will relieve that awkward feeling, Alex.

i emailed you the court documents that show my possession case was dismissed…
it would be nice if you took this blatant lie of the web and corrected your error….

    • We’ve received no emails of substance from you, Jeff, and The Pride did indeed report you were cited, a clarification I’ve added.

  4. I have no affiliation with this newspaper, nor did I have an affiliation after the first couple issues. I would appreciate if my name and picture were removed please. Thank you.

    • Yo, Scott: Either you misrepresented yourself or you failed to fess up to Matt Weaver that you are no longer involved with the koala. As far as we’re concerned, you’re back on active status.

  5. Although I did appreciate the addition of “Musician” to my little bio. Thanks for that.

  6. The more coverage you give these clowns, the more emboldened they will become. BTW, judging by their pix it’s not surprising they have all that free time to put out this publication.

    • They’ve been covered in the local media for years, and I don’t think they could be any more emboldened that they’ve been allowed to become. Our purpose for media coverage is to alert those people who fund our public universities to how some of their public education assets are being used.

  7. Be sure to add that Jeff Weaver has a new alias, Paulo Freire.

  8. I personally have no problems with the Koala or this website – but I will drop some comments since I find it a bit necessary.

With that said, I did lose a bit of respect for Jeff/Scott above. Grow some god-damn gonads and stand up for yourself gentleman.

Anything less only proves your intellectually impoverished bigotry.
